Biography

Ada Carlisle Glick Currie of Bryan, Texas 75, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday October 5, 2008 after a long battle with cancer. She was born July 7, 1933 in Marion County, Mississippi to Matthew and Lillie Mae Carlisle. A Memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 7 at 10:30 A.M. at Christian Faith Church, 1040 Highway 290, Oakhurst, Texas. Pastor Dale Kelley officiating. Survivors include daughter Cheryl Ann Foster and husband Joe Foster of Oakhurst, TX, Belinda Kay Fikes and husband Darrel Fikes of Bryan, Texas and Gary Ross Glick and wife Roxzanne Glick of Breckinridge, Texas, sisters Imogene Hellums of Madisonville, Texas and Mattie Lee Hays and Husband John Eddie Hays of Corpus Christi, Texas. 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Ada will be truly missed. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Christian Faith Church’s building fund at 1040 Hwy 190, Oakhurst, Texas or Brazos Valley Hospice at 502 W 26th Street, Bryan, TX.
