Andrew Anthony Augustino

Born: 6-30-14 - Pittsburg, CA
Died: 5-7-06 - Concord, CA

Attended schools in Pittsburg & Monterey. Predeceased by parents, Sarah & Joseph Augustino, brother, Mario Augustino, wife, Rose Zent Augustino, granddaughter, Danielle Augustino. Survived by son, Gary (Gloria) Augustino of Antioch and grandson, Jason Augustino of Fremont.

Owned Taxi Company and served Camp Stoneman soldiers from 1940-48.

Retired from Fibreboard
Enlisted & served in US Navy aboard USS Draco & USS Lycoming. Honorably discharged 11-17-45. Charter member of Pittsburg Golf Course & well-known as champion golfer, as evidenced by his many trophies. Also skilled in fabrication and repair of golf clubs. After retirement, enjoyed fishing and duck hunting with his many close friends from Pittsburg and sharing those stories over coffee and breakfast each morning. Avid SF Giants & 49-ers fan. Loved to cook & eat anything with lots of garlic.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 11, 2006 between 5-8 pm at TraditionCare Funeral Services, 1205 A Street, Antioch. Rosary will be at 1:00 pm Friday, May 12, 2006 followed by the Funeral Mass at 1:30 at Most Holy Rosary Church, 1313 A Street, Antioch.
