Kenneth James Driscoll was born on April 15, 1934 to Vincent and Agnes (Dumontet) Driscoll in Grand Forks, ND. He was raised in rural East Grand Forks, MN. He attended Sacred Heart School graduating in 1953.
After graduation, Ken joined the US Air Force in 1954. He served for four years in which he spent three years in Germany before his discharge. He attended Thief River Falls Technical College for Electronics. On June 1, 1959 he married Bonnie Hall in St. Michaelís Catholic Church in Grand Forks. They lived in the Fargo/Moorhead area until 1966. He was transferred back to East Grand Forks, MN where he retired from AT&T after 37 years in 1997. Kenís hobbies included golfing, fishing, boating, and watching football. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed traveling south to visit his sisters. He has been a member of the KCís, American Legion, VFW, and Eagles in his lifetime.
He is survived by his wife Bonnie of East Grand Forks, MN; sons Kevin (Lolita) Driscoll of Shakopee, MN, Tim (Ramona) Driscoll of Grand Forks, ND his four grandchildren Nicholas, Rocci, Cheyenne, and Kole; a great-granddaughter Rori, his sisters Rita Kelly of Silverbay, MN, Lois (Jack) Tack of Mission, TX, Elaine (Buck) Thrall of Huntington Beach, CA, and his beloved dogs Sadie and Oreo.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister and brother in law Colleen (Roy) Hughes and brother in law Bob Kelly.
In Lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
