Evening of Remembrace

Dear Friends,

The Staff at Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel understands that grief does not end with the funeral.
We continue to care about you and would like to invite you to our Annual Ecumenical Memorial Service.
On Monday evening, December 8, 2014 at 7pm we will hold our Ecumenical service at Saint Ann Church.  This ceremony is a way in which you can carry on the memories of those who have been a part of your lives and community, and we can thank the families who we have been privileged to serve and most importantly, you will light a candle at the conclusion of the service in memory of your family members and friends who have died.

Following the service, there will be refreshments and an opportunity to visit with others from the community. When you leave, you will take home a rose and your candle as a special memento.
The Candle Lighting Ceremony is a ritual to honor those who are still a part of our lives and memories. We encourage you to extend this invitation to family and friends, whether or not we have served their family; and we look forward to seeing you again and sharing in this Service of Remembrance. To have been touched by someone's death at any time in our lives is reason enough to participate.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call us at (508)754-0486.Your participation will help make this a moving and memorable experience for everyone.

Welcome to Mercadante Funeral Home and Chapel

"Committed everyday to caring" is not just a tag line on a logo, but something all of us feels is true. The time of a funeral is one where family and friends are sensitive; the funeral home provides a place of solace and caring. We strive to care for the people that express their trust in us, as we would want to be cared for, with compassion, dignity, and most of all honesty.  At Mercadante we feel it is our responsibility to:

  • Provide the public with information about funerals, including prices, and about the functions, services and responsibilities of funeral directors.
  • Afford a continuing opportunity to all persons to discuss or arrange funerals in advance.

  • Make funerals available in a wide range of price categories to meet the needs of all segments of the community, and affirmatively extend to everyone the right of inspecting and freely considering all of them.

  • Respect all faiths, creeds and customs, and to give full effect to the role of the clergy.

Through a network of colleagues, we can aid families with the return of a loved one no matter where in this state, this country, and even the world that death may occur. The very first thing you will want to do is contact us at 508-754-0486 or toll free at 1-800-854-0486. We will immediately go to work to care for the deceased and help you arrange funeral services.

We are proud to say that we serve the entire community, no matter what the financial means.  It is our belief that a person should be treated with dignity and respect no matter their financial position.
