Marge was born November 20, 1932 in Yuma, Arizona. The family later moved to Bisbee, Arizona. She attended Bisbee High School and was a drum major and cheerleader. She was the youngest of 8 children, with 5 brothers and 1 sister preceding her in death.
Margie married Larry Whaley in 1982 and they spent 28 years together. She was employed by Sears for 22 years before her retirement in 1992. Her most important work was in the careful and loving way she dealt with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her quick wit, fiery personality, and infectious laugh cannot be replaced. There is not a single woman that loved her children more. Her love for each of us will bless us throughout this life and the eternities.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in many capacities. She was an active line dancer and was also a dedicated teacher of this activity.
She is survived by her husband Larry, her sister Deannie Walker of Hondo, NM, daughters Paula Christensen and her husband Blake, Karen Spitzer and her husband Chuck, Elizabeth Knowlton and her husband Steve and son, Robert Bryce Waters. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
