Mrs. Wilma S. Campbell, 71 of Hamrick Road, Bremen passed away November 13, 2008.

Mrs. Campbell was born on June 28, 1937 in Haralson County, Georgia the daughter of the late Ross Newman and Lucilla Blanks Newman.

Retired owner and operator of Smith Grocery and volunteer of Georgia State Parks & Recreation, Graduate of Bremen High School and member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Ivey Newman and
a daughter, Michelle Alene Smith.

Survivors include her husband, Charles B. Campbell of Bremen; children, Tony Smith of Bremen, Joey & Kathy Smith of Carrollton and Carla Parrott of Bremen, step-daughter, Tranice Garner of Bremen, step-sons, Charles E. Campbell of Bremen and Kevin Campbell of Temple; sister & brother in law, Frances & Douglas Campbell of Tallapoosa; brother & sister in law, Carroll & Janice Newman of Tallapoosa, sister in law, Gail Newman of Tallapoosa; grandchildren, Michelle Terrell, Jennifer Williams, Alex Smith, Erin Smith, Casey Smith, Nikki Parrott, Jacob Parrott, Matt Garner, Krysten Garner, Ashley Campbell, Tiffany Campbell and Amber Campbell, a number of great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday between the hours of 4 & 8 pm.

Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, November 16, 2008 at 2 pm from Pine Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Chester Pesnell, Reverend Kenneth Layton, and Reverend Anthony Campbell officiating. Reverend Larry Keaton will conduct graveside service. Music will be provided by Church Choir. Howard Deering, Alex Smith, Casey Smith, Brian Terrell, Charles Campbell, Kevin Campbell, Matt Garner and Jason Williams will serve as pallbearers.

Interment will follow in Corinth Church Cemetery.
