Dear Eileen, Howard and family,
We're heartbroken over your loss. Kelly was a beautiful person in every way. May you find comfort through your many friends and in the sweet memories of your most special daughter.
Kelly was an amazing woman who touched countless lives with her bright smile and her kindness. I was lucky to learn so much from her as she mentored and molded me into the teacher that I am today. I am thankful for the recent phone conversation that I had with her. She was always such a positive person. Kelly will be missed greatly by many. My heart goes out to her family~
I was blessed to cross paths with Kelly, her daughter and granddaughter during a 3 week stay at our clinic. They became family in all of our hearts at RIMC. What a loss. I promise, I will always remember Kelly and will look for her when I pass. She always managed to smile and keep all of us smiling. She left a huge mark. I wish her family well and know the heartache you must be feeling. Know that you will see her again and that she is with you always. Bless you all for the long fight you fought. May she live on by inspiring us still.
Beautiful lady inside and out.....Someone with class and elegance. Kelly will truly be missed by all that knew her. Her smile lit up a room and I always felt a true sense of caring and warmth any time spoke with her.

Kelly was my 2nd grade teacher and a wonderful woman. I went to school and graduated with her daughter. I am very sorry for your loss. She was amazing.
There are not enough words in the English language that accurately describe the impact Kelly left on many of us. It was both an honor and a blessing to have known her and to have worked with her at Hofstetter. Grieve not for her passing, but be comforted in the fact she is no longer suffering, and we will see her every time we see the sun shine, a rainbow over the sky, a bird singing, and in the laughter of children everywhere. Rest in Peace, Kelly, for we shall meet again.
Kelly and I taught 2nd grade together in the beginning of our careers. I remember her smiles, her passion for teaching, her loving nature, and all the class pets!!! She will be deeply missed.
My heart is heavy knowing that Kelly is no longer with us to share her sweet spirit. It feels selfish because she made all of us happier people. She touched so many lives. My life, my twin brother's life, my dad's life, my children's life. We will miss her physical presence deeply but we will all remember the life she lived and the joy she brought into our life. We will continue our lives with that joy and gratitude each new day. Love you, Kelly. Hugs to the Palumbo family.

Rest in peace, Kelly; "May flights of angels wing thee to thy rest."
We pray for the family at this time of loss, grieving, and the celebration of a life well lived, knowing that in heaven, you will all be reunited.
The only time I wanted a teacher so bad and didn't get her was second grade ...Mrs. Palumbo. I was so disappointed because everyone who had her loved her and there was definitely a reason for that! Her beautiful smile, kindness, joy, love for children and passion for teaching made her unforgettable...even when you only got to see that from a distance. The amazing thing is that she passed that light onto so many people including her kids! Kelly, you are loved and will always live safely in the heart of every child you impacted and everyone who loves you!!
Prayers and thoughts to your family. A truly beautiful person Kelly was and she blessed so many.
Kelly will always be remembered as such a beautiful lady inside and out, who gave so much of herself, and put others first. I was blessed with the priveledge of being her student in 1985-86, and have the opportunity to keep in touch with her as my own children have gone through hofstetter. Kelly's light will continue to shine on through everyone she has touched, and we will see her again one day soon. Rest now Kelly, in the comfort of God's loving arms.
You will be GREATLY missed Kelly. Your big heart will live on for an eternity. You always had the biggest smile on your face, your heart was so kinda and gentle to others and that's not something that you find in a lot of people. I know that you will be continuing to watch over your family everyday. I have such a funny memory from when Talia and I were on the same softball team and were such friends, Talia and you were arguing about her going to the bathroom before she went out on the field and she kept rolling her eyes saying I don't have to go mom! :) So many people are going to miss you deeply and love you with all our hearts!
Oh Kelly dearest cousin you will be so dearly missed. I wish I knew you better just for the fact that you were your grandma through and through. And I loved my great Aunt Beth! Big hugs and tears for the whole family. I love you all!!

Where can you find the words to express the loss of such a fantastic person as Kelly who truly was an Angel that walked among us, I will always remember her smile and positive attitude about everything. She could lift your emotions up no matter how bad you were feeling. My deepest condolences to the Entire Palumbo and Kaiser families.
Goodbye my cousin. You will be greatly missed.
I was lucky enough to have Mrs. Palumbo as my teacher on what I believe it was her first year of teaching in Colville. She was one of the most influential teachers that I had in my growing-up years, and I know she will be missed by all who knew her.
I had the privilege of having Kelly as my second grade teacher. I also had the honor of being a close friend of the Kaiser and Palumbo family's for a very long time. All of my childhood memories include these two wonderful families. Kelly will be greatly missed by all as she was such a beautiful, generous, loving, kind hearted woman. God bless you, Kelly! My heart goes out to everybody who had the pleasure of meeting you! XoXo
May Kelly's memory bring peace. Love you

I taught 2nd grade with Kelly at Astor School. I was always impressed by her friendliness, vibrancy of life, and passion for teaching. I enjoyed the days we spent together. What a kind soul. God Bless You, Kelly! 😄
Kelly has gone HOME to help the second graders and add the gift of her spirit and light. She will be missed, but never forgotten.
May the Lord be with all of you during this sad time. WE will miss Kelly very much. She was a wonderful person.
I have wondered many times in the past 13 years why God brought me to Colville, WA. I know now that He wanted me to meet Kelly Plaumbo. She was a precious friend, a master 2nd grade teacher, the sweetest person I have ever meet and the most passionate wife, mother and grandmother a person could ask for in life. I will miss her deeply, but her lessons on patience and how to love will forever be in my heart.

I am sorry to hear of your passing. You were a great second grade teacher. I really liked you alot. Cancer stinks! Rest in peace..until we meet again.
I'll miss dear sweet Kelly. She was always so caring and loving.
I didn't know Kelly very much, only met her a dozen times or so, but her smile lit up the room, her positive attitude & genuinely sweet spirit was evident the very first time I met her. She & Ralph chatted like old friends at Kanen's 2nd birthday party & it was special time.
She rests with the Father now, for that we can all be grateful & that our Father has Adopted us, and Appreciates us and Loves us to the extent we can't comprehend. My prayers will continue to be about and for you - her family - as you learn to live without her.
Love - Merry & Ralph

Kelly was such a dear friend. She was the kindest, most patient teacher and her students adored her. Kelly was able to make each student feel loved and welcome. She loved reading heart-warming stories to her classes and never missed a chance to focus on the beauty of nature. I was truly blessed to have known her.

Mrs. Palumbo was my second grade teacher over 25 years ago. No teacher ever inspired me like she did. I have often thought of her over the years and hoped she knew how many lives she touched with her beautiful smile, unwavering patience, and ability to make each one of her students feel special. She was one of the most amazing individuals I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. I offer my most sincere condolences to her family.
So sorry to hear of Kelly's passing. I really enjoyed working with her.

Our condolences to the Palumbo & Kaiser families. Kelly was my daughter's favorite teacher. I was fortunate to volunteer in her class when my daughter was in 2nd grade. All her students loved her. She made each student a binder of their school work for the year. I still treasure those momentos. What a blessing she was as a teacher! God's peace and grace go with you Kelly.

You laughter and sweet spirit will be missed. Your strength and grace will serve as an example for me. For all the children whose lives you touched...including those you didn't know..YOU MADE A DIFFERENCE.
Kelly was one of the most happy, positive, energetic people I have ever known. I have heard since the day she started teaching what a WONDERFUL, INSPIRING teacher she was and I was sorry that none of my kids were lucky enough to have her for a teacher. It's so hard for me to believe that she has passed away........She was definitely taken way too soon. I have known the Kaiser family since we moved to Kettle Falls in 1971. Eileen, Howard, Shannon, Wes, Karl, Steve, Talia and David - I am SO sorry for your loss!!
I was saddened to hear about Kelly. She was one of my students at Kettle Falls High School. What a lovely person! She was so positive and upbeat. I know she has touched so many people's lives. What a joy it was to have known her!
My heart is saddened by the news of Kelly's passing. My son and the children loved her! A woman of passion, grace, and kindness- this community lays a beautiful woman to rest. She will be greatly missed! She spoke frequently of her family and becoming a new grandmother. My thoughts and prayers to all her family and friends!

Dear Palumbo and Kaiser families,
I attended the service and listening to the service, I kept smiling as stories were read, as Ms. Golden and Mr. Heath sang, as Mrs. Pinkham sang, as that young lady sang. As I watched the wonderful slideshow that Talia created, tears started flowing, remembering this wonderful person, a wonderful teacher. If I could do her class all over again, I would. I always wanted to do her class twice...she was that great of a teacher. I am proud that she donated her eyes and someone is now seeing out of those beautiful blues. May she rest in peace and I thank the lord for bringing her into my life. Rest in Peace Mrs. Palumbo. I will miss you.
Jake, Whit, and Kanen
Thinking of all the wonderful memories I had growing up with you. You were my second mom. All the ski trips, all the sporting events, and the family times... You were always there for me, cheering me on. Your love for Kanen was so special, you should see Kanen and Heira playing now, its so wonderful and I know you are looking down from Heaven smiling knowing they will be the best of friends! I love you aunt Kelly, thanks for everything you did for me.. I miss you dearly! Love Jake, Whit and Kanen
