Obituary Elva Lehnhoff
Elva M. Lehnhoff of Ellensburg passed away peacefully, 21 January 2010, at age 84.
She was born 15 June 1925 in Nobles County, Minnesota. She was a resident of the Ellensburg community for the past 27 years. She was member of the First Lutheran church in Ellensburg and active in the First Lutheran Quilter’s circle since April 1993. She was also a member of one of the Ellensburg Scholarship Luncheon groups. She loved gardening, quilting, crotcheting, and cross stitching and spending time with her family.
Elva was survived by her loving husband, Allen, of 65 years, and her five (5) children, Sharron Mills (Charles) of Austin, Minnesota, Loren Lehnhoff (Virginia) of Kent, Washington, Charlotte Fairfield (James) of Coupeville, Washington, Elaine Ames (Michael) of Ellensburg, Washington, and Kenneth Lehnhoff (Tamara) of Bonney Lake, Washington. Grandchildren include, Andrea Weber, Carla Pepper, Allen Lehnhoff, Alexander Lehnhoff, John Ames, David Ames, Paul Lehnhoff, Andrew Lehnhoff, and Stephen Lehnhoff. Great grandchildren include, Victoria Weber, Logan Erickson, John Pepper, Claire Pepper, Hayden Lehnhoff and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Paulina Brinkman, and brother Lorraine Brinkman.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the First Lutheran Quilters in Ellensburg.
