Giovanni Giammona
On April 29, 2011 Giovanni Giamonna passed away. He was the beloved husband of Giuseppa Giamonna (Nee DiSalvo); loving father of Giuseppe Giammona and his wife Mimi, Maria Concetta Byrns and her husband Robert, and Jerry Giammona and his wife Sandy; loving grandfather of Jessica Byrns Angelini, Justin Michael Giammona, Nicholas J. Giammona, Tami M. Giammona, and Jason P. Giammona; loving great-grandfather of Siena L. Angelini; dear brother of Salvatore Giammona, Giuseppa Meli, Maria Battaglia, and the late Giovanna Caruso and Domenico Giammona. Devoted son of the late Maria Giammona (Nee Cusimano) and the late Giuseppe Giammona.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc. 9705 Belair Rd. (at Forge Rd.) on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM and Tuesday from 11 AM- 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 2:00 PM at St Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (Overlea). Interment will follow at Parkwood Cemetery.
