Biography

Raymond L. Haynes, age 55, of Shepardsville, passed away August 7, 2009 in the Union Hospital. Born January 29, 1954 in Terre Haute, he was the son to Virgil Haynes and Nora (Hall) Haynes. He married Debra O Bannon and she survives.

Raymond worked as an Instrument Technician for the Cayuga Generating Station for over 32 years. He was a member of the Isaac Walton Clinton Chapter and the NRA. His hobbies include hunting, fishing and watching NASCAR.

Survivors include his wife, a son Christopher Haynes and wife Heather, Clarksville, IN; a daughter Heather Haynes-Savage and husband Steve, Nashville, TN; a grandson Conan Haynes, Clarksville; a granddaughter Alice Haynes, Clarksville; 2 sisters Anne Cooper, Terre Haute, and Sharon Kruzan, Terre Haute; 2 nieces Tonya Kruzan, Terre Haute and Kristie Kruzan, Terre Haute; and a nephew Darrin Cooper, Terre Haute. His parents and a brother-in-law David Kruzan preceded him.

Cremation is scheduled. No services are scheduled. Per Raymonds request, donations may be made to the Parke/Vermillion County Humane Society at PO Box 155, Clinton, IN 47842. The Roselawn Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
