Life Legacy
James “Nelson” Cook, 85, of Fayetteville, GA died February 19, 2008. Mr. Cook was a World War II Veteran serving in the US Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents James H. & Ina Lee Cook and his brother Hulan R. Cook. He is survived by his wife Mildred Moss Cook, Fayetteville; daughters Cheryl C. & Gene Mullinax, Senoia, and Jan C. & Rob Slaughter, Lilburn; grandchildren Heather B. & Dennis Hughes, Suwanee and Brigham N. Slaughter, Suwanee; great-grandson Jonah O. Hughes, Suwanee; brother Hubert L. & Betty Cook, Fayetteville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Carl J. Mowell & Son, Fayetteville with Rev. Dennis Watson and Rev. Ken Helms officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Carl J.
