Life Legacy
Mrs. Thelma Naas, 90, of Griffin, died April 18, 2009. Mrs. Naas is preceded in death by husbands, Fred Wood & Ted Naas. She is survived by her children, Billy & Thoma Wood of Hiram, Annette & Billy Pike of Griffin, Charles & Judy Wood of Temple, Rev. Bobby & Sandra Wood of Austell, Brenda & DeWayne Mayo of Temple; 14 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren: 5 great- great grandchild. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at the Fayetteville Chapel of Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home with Dr. Billy Wood, Dr. Ray Waters, and Rev, Ron Little officiating. Interment will be at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Cedartown, GA at 3:00 PM on Tuesday. Family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Sunday, April 19, 2009 and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
