Ingalls, Cynthia Rose Marie
Age 46, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at her home. She was born December 14, 1961 in Illinois, the daughter of Charles and Belle (Willoughby) Strauss Jr.
Cindy married Rodney K. Ingalls on December 19, 1987 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Neenah. She had been employed with Theda Clark for 19 years as a medical technologist. She is a veteran of the United States Army Reserves enlisting in 1982 and honorably discharged in 1988. Cindy was a member of The Family Church of Menasha.
She enjoyed vegetable gardening, teaching, reading and helping with children.
She also gave 14 years assisting with the Girl Scouts and worked with the Butte des Morts Elementary School PTO for 6 years.
Cindy is an honorary Alumni of the University of Oshkosh School of Education.
Her survivors include her loving husband of 20 years, Rodney K. Ingalls, Menasha; her mother Belle Strauss; her children Matthew Steven Ingalls and Katherine Mae Belle Ingalls all of Menasha. Cindy is further survived by three brothers James Strauss, Appleton, Charles (Susan) Strauss III, Menasha and Bruce (Penny Jane) Strauss, Menasha; two sisters Elizabeth (Jed) Stander, Kansas and Carol (Chris) Trantow, Manawa. Her nieces and nephews Angela and Charles IV Strauss; Jacob and Joshua Strauss; David and Jennifer Trantow.
Cindy was preceded in death by her daughter Elizabeth Laura, her father Charles and a sister April.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2008, 11:00 am at First United Methodist Church, 108 W. Doty Avenue, Neenah with Pastor Paola Benecchi officiating. Family and friends will be received on Friday, October 31, 2008 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, with an evening prayer service at 6:45pm at Martens-Laemmrich Funeral Home, 312 Milwaukee Street, Menasha, AND AGAIN at the church on Saturday from 10:00 am until the hour of service. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Menasha.

Cindy wanted everyone to know that she was not formal in life and she will not be formal in her afterlife. Please attend in casual attire or as Cindy puts it “Come as you are.”
