Biography

Trilby Beaver Fiddner, 88, formerly of China Grove, died Thursday, May 13, 2010 at Liberty Commons in Salisbury. Born September 17, 1922 in Rowan County to the late A.B. and Ollie Jane Spears Beaver, she attended Landis High School.

Trilby was a member of Kimball Memorial Lutheran Church and worked at the A & P grocery store in China Grove as head cashier and bookkeeper for many years.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dighton M. Fiddner.

Survivors include sons, John Reid Fiddner and special friend, Becky Brown of China Grove, Dighton Fiddner Jr. and wife Patricia of Ligonier, PA.; brother, Bill Beaver of Greensboro; sister, Kathleen Moose of Landis; grandchildren, John R. Fiddner II of Gibsonville, NC, Stefanie Pilotte Fiddner Junker and husband Max of Pittsburgh, PA and Andrew McGlachlan Fiddner of Philadelphia, PA; great grandchildren, Hanna Joyce Fiddner and Annabelle Lee Junker.

Visitation and Service: 1 - 2:30 PM Sunday at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home, China Grove with service to begin at 2:30 PM in chapel of funeral home, conducted by Rev. Robert Yount. Interment will follow in Pine Bluff, NC.
