Velma E. Huber
March 25, 1925-October 27, 2007
Velma E. Huber, 82, of Fremont passed away Saturday evening at Elmwood in Tiffin. She was born in Tiffin to Garry and Lura (Forriter) Murphy. Velma was the senior class president and a 1942 graduate of Old Fort High School. She worked in the lab for Northern Ohio Sugar. On August 19, 1945 she married Dale F. Huber. He preceded her in death on January 22, 1999. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and enjoyed traveling, camping, and wintering in Las Vegas with her husband Dale.
Surviving are sons: Fred (Debra) Huber of Fremont, and Steven Huber of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren: Karl (Brooke) Huber of Fremont and great-grandson Aiden Huber; brother, Ned (Pat) Murphy of Burgoon, OH; sister, Geraldine Peck of Norman, OH; 10 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Dale; a grandson, a brother Ray Murphy and sister Evelyn Kitchin.
Visitation will be: Tuesday from 6-8 P.M. at Keller-Ochs-Koch Funeral Home; 416 S. Arch St., Fremont.
Funeral Services: will take place Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. at Keller-Ochs-Koch Funeral Home.
Burial: will follow at Green Springs Cemetery
