Jane E. Ash, 94, of Pemberville died early Sunday morning at Otterbein Portage Valley Retirement Center. She was born in Jackson Twp to Jesse and Guest (Chaney) Mitchell. Jane was a 1933 graduate of Jackson Burgoon High School and was a member of Faith United Methodist Church. Jane married Louis W. Ash on Oct 19, 1932 at the Burgoon United Methodist Church. She was a loving homemaker who loved taking care of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Wayne (Sandra) Ash of Maumee, Gerald (Jean) Ash of Bettsville, five grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Charles and Robert Mitchell, and an infant.
Visitation: will be Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at Keller-Ochs-Koch Funeral Home, 416 S. Arch St., Fremont, OH.
Funeral Service: will be Wednesday 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Peter Johnston officiating.
Burial: will follow at Oakwood Cemetery
Memorials may be made to Faith United Methodist Church, Otterbein Portage Valley Retirement Center, or Hospice of Northwest Ohio, all in care of the funeral home.
