Howard H. Henry
October 19, 1927- December 19, 2007
Howard Henry, 80, formerly of Fremont and most recently of Dallas,GA passed away Wednesday at home in Georgia. He was born in Gibsonburg to Chester and Flossie (Carnicom) Henry. On March 6, 1948 he married Phyllis Decker. He retired from Ford Motor Company in Sandusky, OH, after 30 years and moved to Florida in 1985 before moving to Dallas, GA, in 1998.
Howard was an active member of the Eagles, Elks and The United Methodist Church. Through his efforts Gulf Cove United Methodist Church in Port Charlotte, FL was built and "Henry Hall" has been dedicated in his name.
Surviving are his wife of nearly 60 years, Phyllis Henry of Dallas, GA; daughters: Reverend Jan (Clyde) Henry-Rinehart of Englewood, FL, and Karen Henry- McClary of Acworth, GA; grandsons: Joshua (Mindy) Brandyberry, of Wadsworth, OH; Christian Brandyberry of High Point, NC and Todd Brandyberry of High Point, NC; great-grandchildren; Brody Brandyberry and Emily Brandyberry; brothers: Lowell (Carol) Henry of Fairport Harbor, OH; Mirl(Diana) Henry of Britton, MI; Lynn (Margie) Henry of Gibsonburg, OH;, OH; sister: Laurabelle (Robert) Fellhauer of Lindsey, OH.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Paul Henry and infant sister Freida Henry.
Visitation: will be Sunday from 4- 8 P.M. at Keller-Ochs-Koch Funeral Home, 416 S. Arch St., Fremont, OH, 43420.
Funeral Services: will be Monday, December 24, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. at Keller-Ochs-Koch Funeral Home with Reverend Jan Henry-Rinehart officiating.
Burial: will follow at Oakwood Cemetery
