Louise K. Visconti, 93, longtime resident of Fremont, Ohio died November 26, 2009 with her extended family in Tallahassee, FL. Louise was born November 23, 1916 in Toledo, the daughter of Louis and Katherine (Eberm) Rieker. In 1936 she married Dr. Francis August Visconti. They spent their lives serving the people of Fremont with a home medical practice and raised two children in Fremont. Dr. Visconti preceded her in death in 1983. A lover of outdoors, Louise enjoyed all outdoor activities including volleyball, softball, gardening, swimming and boating. Louise devoted her life to helping others, and cherished her time spent with family and friends. Louise was a member of the former St. Casimir’s Catholic Church in Fremont. She served 60 years with the Buckeye Council of Campfire.
Surviving is her son Frank Visconti of Tallahassee, FL; Mary Visconti; 6 grandchildren: Frances (Visconti) Sandon, Lisa (Visconti) Tschieder, Lora (Visconti) Hauser, Brandon Visconti, John Davies, Catherine (Davies) Clark; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Visconti was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Frances Davies, and brother Louis R. Rieker.
Memorial Services are pending.
Memorials may be made to the St. Bernardine Home or Buckeye Council of Campfire of Fremont, or the Big Bend Hospice in Tallahassee, FL.
