William K. Thompson, 80, Camden, IN, formerly of Thornhope, IN, passed away at 4:45 AM Friday, March 4, 2011 in Hickory Creek @ Winamac, Winamac, IN.
He was born June 28, 1930, in Thornhope, IN, to Adam and Vivian Phillips Thompson.
Bill was a member of the Royal Center Masonic Lodge.
He served in the US Army in Germany during the Korean Conflict.
Bill was born and raised in Thornhope and graduated from Star City High School.
He farmed for many years in the Thornhope area. After retiring from farming he was a long distance truck driver.

Services will be held at 3PM EST Sunday, March 6, 2011, in Frain Mortuary, Winamac, with Pastor Ron Mabry officiating.
Burial will take place in the Star City West Cemetery, Star City, IN.
Friends may call after 1PM EST Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Frain Mortuary.
Memorial Contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
The American Legion and VFW will conduct military graveside services.
