Paul James "Jim" Effingham II, 54, of Hampstead, died on Sunday, February 3, 2013 in Baltimore. Born August 31, 1958 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Paul and Regina (Conway) Effingham. He was the husband of Deborah Stefanski Effingham, his wife of 19 years.

He was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church and was the owner of Precision Tune Auto Care in Catonsville. He was an avid bow hunter, and enjoyed hiking, boating and fishing.

Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters - Ann Marie Effingham of Califon, NJ, Sarah Jean Effingham of Hampstead, MD, Theresa Lynn Effingham of Hampstead, MD; son - Paul James Effingham III of Hampstead, MD; sisters and brother-in-law - Jean Ann Harris of Bear, DE, Linda and Joe McKenna of Berlin, MD, Margaret "Peggy" Bishop of Severn, Dorothy Christina "Chrissy" Walck of Baltimore, MD; brothers-in-law Stanley S. Stefanski of PA, Frank J. Stefanski and wife Karen of PA, Michael L. Stefanski and wife Catherine of KY; sister-in-law - Marilyn J. Stefanski of PA; .

Friends may call at the Eline Funeral Home, 934 S. Main Street, Hampstead on Thursday, February 07, 2013 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm .
A Requiem Mass will be held on Friday, February 8, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 2930 Hanover Pike, Manchester. Interment will be the following week in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery on Friday, February 15 at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Ducks Unlimited, Inc., One Waterfowl Way, Memphis, TN 38120.
