Life Legacy


Wilbur “Bill” Morse, 93, a resident of Gainesville, Missouri formerly of Kissimmee, Florida passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012, in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

He was born September 11, 1919, in New York City, New York to the late, Ralph and Sophronia Morse. Mr. Morse served in the United States Navy during World War II. He owned W.H. Morse Corporation in Kissimmee, Florida and was a real estate appraiser.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 61 years, Mamie Ruth Morse and a brother.

Survivors include his son and a daughter-in-law, Larry and Jitka Morse of Gainesville, Missouri; his daughter, Pamela Morse of Orlando, Florida; five grandchildren, Aubrey Morse of Thomaston, Georgia, Cody Morse of Columbia, Missouri, Colt Morse of Kissimmee, Florida, Kimberly Michado of Orlando, Florida and Chuck Lanier of Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Kissimmee, Florida.

Arrangements are under the direction of Conner-Hankins Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Ozarks.
