In 1978 he graduated from Hinkley High School in Aurora, Colorado where he was raised and spent his formidable years. He was and always will be a Bronco's fan like the rest of his family.
In April of 1982 Daniel joined the US Navy where he served until March of 1995. His first and only duty station after basic training was NAS Whidbey. He was on the Enterprise carrier which was the first carrier to go through the Suez Canal on a mission to the Philippines. Det. as an IMA Tech at AIMD. He also served as an Instructor at Namtragrudet NAS Whidbey Island.
In 1983 Daniel married Jennifer Addington and together they raised two great children. He graduated from SVC with an AA in general arts. He loved fishing even if he didn't catch anything. One of his greatest joys was his sonís football team's journey and championship in 2006. You would often find Daniel on the transit with a good story to tell. He loved tossing the Frisbee around and spending a day flying kites with his friends and family. He loved his family above anything else.
