Ramona Blaker Hughes




            Ramona
Blaker Hughes, 80 of Brownsville,
formerly of Carmichaels, died Monday, December 8, 2008.





            She was
born November 3, 1928 in Center
Township, Greene
County, a daughter of the late Hal
E. and Sylvia G. White Funk.



            Mrs. Hughes
worked as a cook on the river boats for Consolidation Coal Company River
Division.



            She lived
most of her life in Greene County
and served as a Committee Woman for Cumberland
Township #1 for 13 years.



            She had
been a member of the Jefferson Church
of the Nazarene at one time.



            On February 4, 1978 she married Isaac O.
"Zeke" Hughes who survives.



            Also
surviving are three sons, Denny Ray Blaker of Carmichaels, J. Allen "Jake"
Blaker and his wife Pam of Carmichaels and Michael Hughes and his wife Mardee
of Millsboro; two grandchildren, Tracy Ozohonish and her husband Jim of
Clarksville and Rick Blaker and his wife Denice of Carmichaels; four great
grandchildren, Hillary Blaker, Jakie Blaker, Emily Ozohonish and Abby
Ozohonish; three sisters, Mrs. Ralph (Wilhelmina) Tustin of Freedom, Mrs. Paul
(Constance) Scherich of Evans City and Mrs. Kenneth (Marquetia) Six of
Prosperity; two brothers, Robert A. Funk of Munhall and Carl W. "Sam" Funk of
Ruff Creek.



            Deceased
are three sisters, Arnetta Todd, Elizabeth Buyny and Wanda Catalano; four
brothers, Warren Funk, Charles Ernest Funk, Herbert Funk, and Hal Funk Jr.



            Friends
will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
on Wednesday, December 10, in the Behm Funeral Homes, Inc., 1477
Jefferson Road, Jefferson,
Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where services will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor David Benner officiating.
Interment will follow in Greene County
Memorial Park, Waynesburg.
