June 29, 1958 - November 1, 2009
Mike Scoles, age 51, of Springbrook, WI passed away unexpectedly on November 1, 2009 at the Hayward Area Memorial Hospital with his friend Tracy at his side.

Michael Patrick Scoles was born on June 29, 1958 in St. Paul, MN to loving parents Patrick and Patricia (OíConnell) Scoles. He attended St. Pascalís, Maplewood Jr. High School and was a graduate of Tartan High School. He was a volunteer to Stegerís 1986 Arctic and 1989-1990 Antarctic expeditions. His interests and talents were many, not the least of which was building his own homestead in Springbrook with a little help from his friends. He was currently working on a degree in nursing and planning a month long trip to Guatemala this winter. Mikeís love of travel, adventure, dancing and the outdoors was only surpassed by his love of family and friends.

Mike is survived by his father Patrick; his son Rory (Eli); his daughter Erin; his grandchildren: Faelan, Aedhagan, Phoenix, Oshin, and Coral; his sisters Catherine (Jeff) Burianek, Julie (Skip) Dull, and Ann (Paul) Bolin; his brothers Tom and Dave; his nieces Kellie (Josh) Dickey, Jeanette, Breanna, Molly and Emma; his nephews Shawn and Joseph; great nieces Savanna and Gracie; great nephew Josh Jr.; and many friends from Wisconsin, Minnesota, and all over the world.

He was preceded in death by his mother Patricia, his sister Mary Ellen, and grandson Wind.

A Celebration of Mikeís life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 7th, 2009 at the Anderson-Nathan-Koerpel Funeral Home in Hayward. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4 to 8 pm and again on Saturday at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private at a later date.
